Manuela, ten years guiding each learner on their path towards French. One conviction: you don't learn a language, you make it your own.
My path
I was born in Marseille. At 20, I dropped my bags in the United States without speaking a word of English.
Overnight, I had to relearn how to make myself understood in the simplest moments of daily life: doing my groceries, asking for directions, understanding a joke that fell flat, daring to speak up in a conversation that was moving too fast for me. That feeling of being intelligent in one language and mute in another, I know it intimately.
Why I teach
That's when I understood something essential: a language isn't learned from books. It's lived, it's missed, it's tried again, until it becomes second nature.
After several years between the United States and London, I started teaching professionals, expats, students, language lovers. Different paths, but always the same click: confidence comes before perfection, never the other way round.
My goal isn't to teach you a language. It's to help you make it yours: a tool, a freedom, a new way of taking your place in a world you belong to.
What still inspires me
I built this site to go beyond the classical lesson: a method, a community, a path designed for a more human, more natural, more efficient learning. Because I, too, never stopped learning. Today I'm studying Russian, to keep feeling what my students feel: the doubt, the block, the tiny progress that changes everything, and that immense satisfaction the day the words, finally, come on their own.
